The New Age of Teaching
The recent worldwide events have created a new opportunity for teaching and taking lessons: online instruction. This is actually a wonderful addition to the educational environment, enabling teachers to meet the needs of their students even when traveling, and allow students in more rural areas to receive virtual one-on-one weekly instruction.
I teach both in person and online, all ages and levels. My students are on both coasts and are thriving. Various apps like Goodnotes and Acapella allow me to keep track of online students' lessons and enables me to supply them with videos and PDFs to help with their deeper understanding of content presented in lessons. Online students also have a greater degree of scheduling flexibility. Even local students will opt for online from time to time depending on their schedules, or if they (or I) are a little under the weather!
